Know where your pet is, even away from home
With a SIM GPS tracker you see them on the map, we alert you if they leave a safe zone, and you can share it with your family.

Live map
With a SIM GPS tracker you see its last position on the map wherever you are, with accuracy and, if the device sends it, battery. We keep 30 days of history.
Safe zones with alerts
Create a circle from 50 to 2,000 m (home, the park) and get an alert when they leave or come back. With a SIM GPS tracker the alert arrives even with the app closed.
Lost mode
One tap alerts everyone with access and refreshes the position every 15 seconds. It switches itself off after 72 hours.

Which trackers work on Miloop's map
Miloop only promises what it can really do. Reviewed on 3 October 2026.
| Device | On Miloop's map | What it does in Miloop |
|---|---|---|
| SIM GPS trackers: TKSTAR, Winnes, SinoTrack, Concox and others that let you change the server by SMS (watch, h02, gt06, gps103/tk103, huabao, xexun and teltonika protocols) | Yes (beta) | Position on the map, battery if the device sends it, 30 days of history, safe-zone alerts even with the app closed, and lost mode. |
| OsmAnd app or firmware (Traccar Client on an old phone) | Yes | Same as a SIM GPS tracker. |
| LoRaWAN GPS, no SIM (The Things Network, Helium or your own ChirpStack) | Yes, every few minutes (beta) | Position on the map and 30 days of history, no SIM fee. It only works where there are LoRaWAN gateways nearby, it is not live, and battery only shows if the device sends it. |
| Simple Bluetooth tag | Not live | Tells you if it's nearby, rings it if the tag allows it, and marks on the map where your phone last detected it (approximate; also with the app closed if you allow location “All the time”). It can't follow it once it's away. |
| AirTag, SmartTag, Find Hub, Tile, Chipolo, Tractive, Weenect, Kippy… | No | You can link them to your pet and open their own app from Miloop in one tap. They are closed ecosystems: other apps can't read their location. |
Coming soon, not available yet: a Miloop GPS tracker of our own.
Privacy and shared access
Your pet's location says where you live and walk, so we treat it as sensitive data. You can give family or a carer access per pet: location only, with history, or with more control, for 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or until you revoke it. Access is granted with a single-use code and stops working immediately when revoked. Locate does not use your location in the background or scan Bluetooth all the time.
How it works
- Buy a compatible SIM GPS tracker (our guide explains how) or use an old phone with Traccar Client.
- In Miloop, open Locate › Add a tracker and pick the type.
- Enter the device identifier and text it the SMS commands the app shows.
- When the first location arrives, create your safe zones.
FAQ
Do I need to buy a tracker?
Yes. Miloop doesn't include one: to see your pet on the map you need a SIM GPS tracker (or an old phone running Traccar Client). See the guide “Which tracker to buy”.
Does it work with an AirTag, a SmartTag or a Tractive?
Not on the map. Their makers don't let other apps read the location. You can link them to your pet and open their app from Miloop in one tap.
Does it alert me if they leave a safe zone with the app closed?
With a SIM GPS tracker, yes: our server evaluates the zones and the alert reaches your phone. A Bluetooth tag has no safe zones.
How much history is kept?
Positions are kept for 30 days. You can delete the history from the app.
Who can see where my pet is?
Only your household according to their role, and people you give access to with a single-use code. You can revoke it any time.
