Pastizal terms and conditions
The ground rules, in plain language.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Purpose and who provides the service
These terms govern the use of the Pastizal app and its website. It is provided by Juan Zurita Ruiz-Ruano, an individual trading as ZuritaTech (tax ID 26828689V), Calle Alta Cartuja, 20, Granada (España). Contact: admin@zuritatech.com. By installing or using Pastizal you accept them. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Minimum age
You must be at least 14 years old to use Pastizal. If the law of your country requires a higher age (for example, 15 in France or 16 in Germany), that is the minimum age that applies to you. Only in Brazil, India, Indonesia, South Africa and Nigeria, where the law requires age assurance or an age of majority of 18, the app asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older; otherwise you can't use it. If you're younger than that age, please don't use it.
Account
Pastizal has no user accounts: your data lives on your device and you are responsible for making your own backups from the app.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pastizal for illegal activities, to harm or overload the service, to bypass its limits or checks (for example, tampering with the device or app to get Premium without paying), to decompile it except as the law allows, or to access other people's data.
Subscriptions, purchases and withdrawal
Pastizal is free with ads. Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time “lifetime” purchase. Current prices are shown in the app and on the pricing page before you buy.
- Subscriptions: renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. They are charged to your Google Play account. You can cancel any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions; you keep Premium until the end of the period already paid.
- One-time “lifetime” purchase: you pay once and Premium is yours for as long as the app exists and we keep it available; it doesn't renew or charge again. “Lifetime” refers to the life of the product, not yours. If we stopped offering Pastizal on Google Play, we would give you at least 6 months' notice and you would keep Premium in the app you already have installed.
Right of withdrawal (EU). If you're a consumer in the EU, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost once performance begins with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose it; when you buy on Google Play and Premium activates instantly, this is the usual case. Even so, refunds are handled by Google Play under its policy (you can request one through Google Play's “Request a refund” help page) and, if you need it, email admin@zuritatech.com and we'll help. This doesn't limit mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, brand, texts and code belong to Juan Zurita Ruiz-Ruano or are used under licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pastizal. What you record (your transactions and notes) is yours; you authorise us only to process it to provide the service to you.
Disclaimer
Pastizal is a tool for recording and organising your personal finances. It does not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice: the figures, projections and ideas it shows are calculated from the data you enter and are indicative. Financial decisions are yours. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank and may differ from your bank's; the receipt scanner can make mistakes, so check what it records.
Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep Pastizal always working and without losing data, but can't guarantee it 100%: the service is provided “as is”. Reminders and features also depend on your phone's permissions and settings. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit arising from use of the app. None of this limits liability that cannot legally be limited (wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury) or your rights as a consumer.
Changes, suspension and termination
We may update the app and these terms; if a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if you breach these terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence and the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence continue to protect you. The EU online dispute resolution platform is no longer available; you can write to us first at admin@zuritatech.com to try to resolve it.
